ATSM - Clean and simple - watercolor flower

This week's challenge at Addicted to Stamps and More is in the spirit of Clean and simple style.

http://addictedtostamps-challenge.blogspot.cz/2016/07/challenge-204-cas.html

Our sponsor is Happy Little Stampers and if you join our challenge, you have the chance of winning $15 gift certificate for this store, so don't miss it!!

http://www.shop.happylittlestampers.com/

As an inspiration for you I decided to use one of my pictures, that I painted when I tried to figure out water colors.
It's an unknown random flower, so if someone knew, what kind of flower it could be, let me know :D

As usual in CAS I tried to keep it simple, so I just put the picture on white paper, that makes a second layer to a white card base.

And just added some twine in blue colors.

Hope you will join us at Addicted to Stamps and More too!

Summer adventure card

As a winner of retro rubber challenge I got this great opportunity to join as a guest designer for the next challenge!

The theme for this challenge is Summer. And it was really challenging for me, because I don't have any summer stamps. I would usually just draw something for the specific theme, but this time I had to use a rubber stamp of course. :) Luckily I have a lot of crafty friends so I acquired a stamp print from one of them, which was perfect for the summer card.

I don't usually go to any exotic location in summer, I would just mostly camp with my friend.. by the lake...in the forest... So I thought keeping my card in this spirit would be nice.

I used aquarelle pencils to color the stamp and the background map detail. Also used the dino footprints paper, because tracking seemed to be the thing, the guy on the stamp is doing. :D And of course I kept it in the colors of nature.

Thanks for stopping by and I would like to encourage you to also join this summer challenge at

ATSM - Make your mark - Love birds card

Hello everyone! Today is my first time participating as a Design team member at Addicted to Stamps and More Challenge blog.

http://addictedtostamps-challenge.blogspot.cz/2016/07/challenge-202-make-your-mark.html

Today's challenge theme is Make your Mark so I had to do some coloring, but given that our sponsor for this challenge is Sami Stamps, it wasn't that much of a challenge, but pure pleasure:).

http://www.samistamp.blogspot.ca

Sami Stamps provides a variety of high quality Digital Stamps in both JPEG and PNG formats. Such a lovely stamps for any occasion, you should definitely check it out! And if you join us at our challenge, you have the chance of winning a $12.00 gift certificate for Sami Stamps, which is totally worth it, so go on!

I chose this beautiful digi of Two birds, which instantly recalled to me as a love birds. You can purchase the stamp here.

First of all I made my mark by coloring the printed stamp with aquarelle pencils. I chose light gentle colors, because I intended my card to be a wedding card. I cut out the birds and proceeded by making a heart of flowers. Those flowers are made from flower dies punched from office paper. I just put two dies on top of each other, added a liquid pearls in the middle and marked the edges with a light brown ink.

For the background I used beautiful embossed paper with flower pattern and I also painted some of the embossed patterns with a white ball pen. The rest are just plain papers in white and cream colors, but the corners are embellished by lacy punches. Different punch on each layer.

Then I just put it all together and of course I wouldn't go without a ribbon :) Added a small "Congratulation" sentiment to the bottom and tada - my birds are all settled:)

Thanks for stopping by my blog and don't forget to join our #202 challenge at http://addictedtostamps-challenge.blogspot.cz/

Happy Birthday ATSM!

I am really excited, that I can wish a Happy Birthday to the Addicted to Stamps and More Challenge blog, that I'm joining as a member of DT from July.

The ATSM blog is celebrating 4th birthday, that means this is already a 200th challenge! Which is awesome :)

So ATSM, I wish you all the best, many more years to come and a lot of participants in the challenges! Keep the good job doing, what you are doing, and I'll be really glad to be a small part of all this :)

The Birthday challenge is also a photo inspired challenge:

So I took the inspiration from the white background and colorful patterned letters and of course the Happy Birthday theme!

I am not a bright or pastel colors lover, so I took just about all the papers that seemed colorful enough :D. I created a background with these patterned papers using them as flags.

I wanted to add a picture of a cake for the birthday theme, but only cake stams that I had was wedding cakes so I had to draw it by myself. Which in the end was even better, because I could add exactly four candles matching the birthday!

So again, enjoy the birthday week and stay inspired!

Rosette greeting

Last night I made this universal greeting card with  a "Congratulation" sentiment. I was following the Red, White, Blue color scheme from Retro Rubber challenge blog. I used a rubber stamp for the sentiment (which is from Christmas 2014).

For the background I used embossed white paper with a wooden pattern and I used a little bit of distress ink on it. And also a red patterned paper, that is just going with everything, and connected them with a dotted blue ribbon.

For the embellishment I used a red-white rosette, handmade paper flowers in white color and a blue twig punch die, that I almost ruined another punch on, because my paper was too thick :X. And also I used an ornamental die that I drew and my friend cut on plotter:).
